Life of Pi 3D Movie Review

Starting the year off with a film we wouldn't typically see. This is a slow 'n steady story of a boys journey from India to Canada after the closure of their zoo, and the animals come along for the ride. Unfortunately on the way the boat sinks and only the boy and a handful of animals survive, including a tiger! This is their story. The movie is excellently and calmly narrated by the boy grown up, telling his hard to believe story to a writer. The story itself is quite wild and varied for a boy in a boat, and full of CGI spectacle, the 3D effects however are nothing to write home about. Its a nice but slow story and manages to keep your interest.

New Year 2013

We spent New Years at Mark and Carol's with Gareth and Sarah too. Arriving on Sunday, we all ripped open our pressies, we had gotten everyone animal onesies!

On New Year's Eve our pressie from Mark and Carol was to see Bobby Davro and Denise Welch in Cinderella, with two of the vilest drag queen ugly sisters!

Then that evening we played lots of silly games, like popping balloons between people, jamming marshmallows in your mouth and saying "Chubby Bunny", hot potato, wrapping the kids up in toilet roll likes mummies and egg roulette, etc.... A great time was had by all!!
