In the Heart of the Sea Movie Review

The story of Moby Dick comes to the big screen starring Thor (Hemsworth) and Richie Cunningham directing (Howard). The hunt is on for whale oil and driven by greed they head 2000 miles out into the Atlantic, only to find Moby Dick, out to protect his school of whales and wreck any ship that gets close. The story is told through the eyes of a 14 year old boy, recounting his tale to the author. Its fairly light on character development and relationships, but does enough among the main cast to make you feel their pain when stranded. The action sequences when the whale attacks are pretty tense, but there are lulls. All in all and enjoyable film.
